Community and Family

During his free time, Dr. Huffaker and his family take advantage of the outdoor sports activities and natural beauty of the Johnson City area. They enjoy water skiing and boating on nearby lakes, and hiking in the scenic Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Dr. Huffaker also participates in the community. He volunteers with his children’s sports teams when they travel to competitions, and he ran an Upward basketball program at his church. Upward Sports is a Christian sports league for children that is based in South Carolina. As an involved parent, Dr. Huffaker also volunteers at his kids’ schools.
